Kristen Anne Bell, born 1980 in the US of America, is an actress and a singer. She was born and raised in Huntington Woods Michigan as the daughter of Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) - and Tom Bell - a television director - she is an American singer and actress. Kristen is born in Polish descent (mother) in addition to German, English and Scottish (father). Kristen discovered a passion for the arts at the age of a child. In 1992, Kristen went to her very first audition. She got an appearance on Raggedy Ann And Andy. Bell's mother signed her up with an agency just before turning 13 years old. She was then featured in TV commercials as well as newspaper advertisements. Along with learning in private classes and acting lessons, she started her career at that time. Bell was as a guest in Polish Wedding (2000) in 1998 in a role that was not credited to her. Bell was a member of the Drama and Music Club at Shrine Catholic High School. The Wizard of Oz production in her high school earned Bell the starring Dorothy role. Bell went to New York City for the Tisch School of the Arts to study musical theatre following her graduating. Bell left her college in 2001 after she took the role of Becky in the film Tom Sawyer. In 2001, it was also that Bell made her first appearance in a film that was credited to her, Pootie Tang (2002). Unfortunately her scene was cut and the credits are all that depict her. Bell was in the film with Angela Bettis, Liam Neeson as well as in the Broadway show The Crucible in 2002.
